Refund Policy for Handmade Products

We care about quality and customer satisfaction. Since most of our items are handmade with love — including incense, crafts, and custom products — our refund and return policy is designed to be fair and clear.

Return Window for Handmade Products

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. If 30 days have passed, we can’t offer a refund or exchange.

Who Can Return Handmade Items?

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused
  • It must be in the same condition you received it
  • It must be in the original packaging
  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase

Opened or used incense, self-care items (like oils or soaps), or damaged crafts that weren’t damaged in transit can’t be returned.

Which Handmade Products Are Non-Returnable?

  • Custom or personalized products
  • Used incense or burned items
  • Opened self-care goods (soaps, oils, etc.)
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable products
  • Perishable items like food or flowers

Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer a partial refund for:

  • Items returned damaged (not due to our error)
  • Missing components
  • Returns received after the 30-day window (if pre-approved)

How Our Handmade Product Refunds Are Processed

Once we receive your return and inspect it, we’ll notify you by email. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within a few business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your card provider — it might take time to show
  • Reach out to your bank — some processing time is normal

Refunds for Sale Items

Only full-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges

 

If your item arrives damaged or defective, we’re happy to exchange it for the same product. Email us at studenthandicraft@gmail.com with photos, and send the item to Thamel, Nepal.

Gift Returns

If you received the item as a gift, you’ll get a gift credit once the item is returned. If the gift was sent to the buyer first and then to you, the refund will go to the gift giver.

Return Shipping

To return a product, mail it to: studenthandicraft@gmail.com.

You are responsible for return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or adding insurance, especially for high-value items.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.
